Mushroom cultivation is emerging as an important source of income for farmers

Oyster mushrooms are one of the most common types of cultivated mushrooms. Mushy labs aims to cultivate other medicinal mushrooms too, since these mushrooms are been exported to our country. At present, Mushy labs will sell the oyster mushroom in ways, such as fresh oysters and dry oysters. Dry mushrooms are a perfect solution for unsold fresh mushrooms. Dried oyster powder can be sold in the form of capsules. Several other products can also be made such as pickled oyster or Oyster seasonings. We will provide home delivery and will make sure that every kitchen in the city will taste this healthy and delicious mushroom. Oyster mushrooms are available in market throughout the year which is a great deal for a food product. Oyster mushrooms are a protein source of 3.3g/100g, the highest among other mushrooms. However, not many people are aware of its health benefits and nutritional properties. I believe this product with good marketing and awareness to the people will be successful one day

Vandana Yadav founder of "Mushy labs”, where we are supporting the farmers and housewives by providing them well-skill trainings under Mushy labs supported by Unnat Bharat Abhiyan. This is how we can help many needy people by providing them employment. We will provide training for women on how to grow mushrooms with less investment and more profit. We also ensure them about the marketing. They can grow mushrooms in their home.

This is how if we reach on large-scale business then many products out of mushrooms can be made including the employment for women.

If each person seeds 10 bags for mushrooms which will cost up to 200Rs. Approximately, 4 kgs mushroom can be taken as output that can be sold for Rs 400. (100 rs per kg). Hence, we share a total of 200 Rs as a profit. It would be great if we work on a large scale to share a good profit and employment in rural areas.
