Women seeking to make a bigger impact as a leader need the strategies to get the recognition and responsibility they have earned. While strategising on women empowerment to improve women’s health, MIET-Unnat Bharat Abhiyan through MIET-Women-cell focuses on mobilising women into SHGs and imparting to them training in skill development with an eye on income enhancement. Women are guided on how to save money, access micro credit, engage in economically viable activities and become inspiring leaders in their communities.

Our vision is to make women economically independent and to help them achieve better health, livelihood and quality of life outcomes.

SHGs of Nagla-Jamalpur, Meerut UP started a small handicraft and food beverages business in which she united over 20 needy women and made them financially empowered. With the help of this business, these women not only became a symbol of strength but also helped in promoting art culture.
